This datasets provides information on Workforce Ready Grant (WRG) funded enrollments per 100,000 individuals aged 20+ by race since fall 2019.
These programs are offered at no cost to eligible individuals. Tuition and fees associated with the program are paid for through federal and state financial aid, including the Workforce Ready Grant.
A student may be enrolled in a WRG-eligible program but not receive the WRG. This is often because those students have received other financial aid that covers the cost of the program. Only students receiving WRG funding are reported.
At the present time, the data only provides WRG-funded enrollee numbers for the Ivy Tech Community College, which provides the majority, but not the entirety, of such students. Additional providers will be added in the future.
