Occupation Estimates

Occupations are classified by the federal Standard Occupation Code (SOC) system. There are approximately 800 SOC codes that identify specific jobs or occupations. These estimates provide employment data at the 6-digit SOC code level for all counties in the US to assist users in clustering occupations into non-standard groupings, such as STEM occupations.
