This U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) five-year estimates data set contains median family income estimates during the past 12 months and in inflation-adjusted dollars. The data is available for a number of geographies ranging from statewide to census tract level. The data is available for year 2009-2016.

This includes the income of the householder and all related individuals 15 years old and over in the household. Income is based on “money” income–income received on a regular basis before payments for personal income taxes, social security, union dues, etc. Money income does not include noncash benefits that may be received.
