PUBLIC SAFETY PRISON INCARCERATION ADMISSIONS

This dataset is the underlying data for the Public Safety portion of the Equity Data Portal displaying Indiana's prison admissions by demographics.

The rate of individuals admitted to prison by race, intake year, intake age group, felony type, most serious offense, and county of conviction. The data also includes the total length of time sentenced at the point of admission into prison. This dataset contains the underlying data for the 'Admissions' and 'Length of Sentence' tabs of the 'Prison Incarceration' dashboard within the Public Safety domain.
